Thank you to all the Campers and families that participated in our first Virtual camp- Camp Adventure 2.0! It was an eventful month, loaded with exploration, meeting new faces, and enjoying our time together at Camp!
The health and safety of our community is our top priority and this reality has guided us to launch Camp Adventure 2.0, bringing all the magic and excitement of summer camp into the homes of students and their families!
Guided by weekly themes, students will Create, Reflect, Explore, and Collaborate as part of a virtual group while also engaging in tasks independently. Campers will be invited to join singalongs, interactive craft tutorials, weekly virtual campfires, story time, science exploration, fitness squads, and so much more!
There are no set hours for Camp Adventure 2.0. Each week, students will engage in activities at their own desired times along with having scheduled meetings with fellow Campers and Camp Counselors. In total, Campers will have between 3-4 hours of fun activities available to them daily. Supplies for the activities will be provided to Campers in a weekly Camp Box. Boxes can be picked up the Friday before the week of camp between 9a-2p in the administrative office, or the box can shipped; that selection can be made on the payment page.
Live interactions will occur daily between 9 a.m and 2 p.m. These specific meeting times will be communicated to families the Friday prior to the week of camp; Camp log-ins will be provided after the registration process is complete.
Virtual tutoring is an add-on or alternative to Camp, providing students one-on-one tutoring sessions with a TCDS teacher.
Camp Adventure is $45 per week, per Camper. A 10% discount is offered when Campers are registered for multiple weeks.
Virtual Tutoring is $15 per 30 minute session, with a maximum of 10 sessions per week. A TCDS teacher will reach out after registration to arrange scheduling.
Registration has closed for all weeks of Camp Adventure 2.0!

Camp Adventure History
Below information describes our traditional form of camp, which we have temporarily shifted to an online format for 2020.
Camp Adventure has been a Tucson tradition for over 50 years! Since the beginning, we have filled the summer days with activities that engage children, help them develop a sense of community, and present learning opportunities throughout the experience.
Our Early Childhood camp for 3, 4 and 5-year-olds is a FUN, academic based program. We provide structured learning and play experiences and swim instruction four days per week! In addition to art, science and hands-on exploration activities, we give children daily opportunities to practice writing, letter recognition, and counting skills.
